Ted Clancy is a multifaceted musician, composer, producer, educator, recording engineer and sound system designer who is currently very active in the North Jersey region. In 2022 he built the new recording studio in Lake Hopatcong and began a new composition project for a 7-piece jazz ensemble.
He is currently playing in several jazz groups on the 7-string electric bass and in a rock, rhythm and blues group on electric guitar ... these are all local groups and they add up to a rich and fulfilling musical life. He also maintains a modest classical guitar repertoire and is planning to record several Villa-Lobos pieces in the near future.
